About me

NIKE MEES

I was born in Greece and moved to Germany when I was 18.

From 1982 to 2000, I pursued my education as a watercolorist, learning from various artists, professors, and lecturers, including Heinrich Müller-Wittgendorf, Adelheid Kilian, and Bernhard Vogel.

My artistic journey has taken me across Europe, with painting travels to France, Greece, Holland, Italy, and Austria. These experiences played a crucial role in shaping my development as a painter.

In 2000, I attended the European Painting Academy in Tria, Germany. Over the years, I have participated in both solo and group exhibitions in Germany and Greece. My work primarily features watercolors and acrylics.

I am a proud member of the Association of Fine Artists of Northern Greece. Today, I split my time between Thassos and Hannover, Germany, continuing to explore and express my passion for art.

If you are looking for a peaceful and cosy place very close to the beach, the Art Boutique Villa Nike is just the right place for you. The owner Mrs Niki is a very nice and helpful person. All appartments have air-condition and WiFi. The bed was very comfortable. The walls are decorated with beautiful aquarel paintings. Outside, you will find a nice BBQ area, a hammock and even an open-air shower. Just a 5 minute walk away, you will find 2 fantastic taverns with very tasty food and a lovely view.

We stayed at Villa Nike for 7 days as a family of 5.

Especially the location of the house is great, it has a large garden, parking area, sea view and it was great to watch the sunrise, there is a barbecue area and a shower area after the sea.

Since the owner grew up in German culture, he is very disciplined and his house and garden are very clean.

The apartments have everything you need.

It is within walking distance to the sea and there are 2 WiFi units.

The beach is not very crowded and this gives you a special beach atmosphere. Although there are many villages and beaches nearby, we did not feel the need to go to other beaches. The sea water was very clean and the sand was wonderful. There is a nice business on the beach that provides a pool, cafeteria, restaurant and beach service. There are also other restaurants and markets within walking distance. We had a nice holiday, thank you very much to the location and the host Ms. Mees, it deserves 5 stars.

A wonderful place, its own yard, a lot of greenery, there is a gazebo where you can cook fish or meat and have dinner there. There is even an outdoor shower outside. Quiet, calm and very homely, as if in your own country house... The beach is within walking distance, which is very important, we were there in 2022.

Nike Mees is a warm host. Good value for money and a great location with lots of nature and right by the sea. There are delicious and good restaurants in the area as well as a direct bus connection etc.
